Privacy Policy

Effective date: August 17, 2026Last updated: August 17, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Cache Rocket ("Cache Rocket", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use CacheRocket.com, the Cache Rocket WordPress plugin, APIs, and related services (the "Service").

Information we collect

  • Account data: name, email address, authentication credentials, and billing-related identifiers needed to operate your account.
  • Site / plugin data: website URLs, warmer settings, API keys you configure, and technical metadata required to warm caches or run optional cloud optimizations.
  • Usage and diagnostics: request logs, job status, quota/usage counters, and error diagnostics needed to operate and secure the Service.
  • Payment data: processed by our payment providers; we do not store full payment card numbers on our servers.

How we use information

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the Service
  • Authenticate accounts and enforce plan entitlements and quotas
  • Process cache warming, CDN delivery, and cloud optimization jobs
  • Communicate service notices, security alerts, and support replies
  • Detect abuse, prevent fraud, and comply with legal obligations

WordPress plugin data transfers

When the official Cache Rocket WordPress plugin is connected with your API keys, it may send your site URL, configured credentials, warmer configuration, and selected page/media URLs to api.cacherocket.com to sync plan/usage, warm caches, manage warmers, queue cloud optimization jobs, and notify us on uninstall. Local features such as page caching and custom CDN rewriting run on your WordPress site and do not require those transfers unless you enable connected features.

Sharing

We do not sell personal information. We may share information with infrastructure, CDN, email, analytics, and payment processors that help us operate the Service, and when required by law or to protect the Service and our users.

Retention

We retain account and service data for as long as your account remains active and as needed for legitimate business, security, and legal purposes. You may request account deletion; residual backup copies may persist for a limited period.

Security

We use industry-standard safeguards to protect data in transit and at rest. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; please keep your credentials confidential.

Your choices

  • Update account details in your Cache Rocket dashboard
  • Disconnect the WordPress plugin or rotate API keys at any time
  • Request access, correction, or deletion by contacting support
